What levels do you teach?

We offer expert mathematics tuition at KS-2, KS-3, GCSE, A-Level, and IB levels, with personalized support tailored to each student's needs.

 

What are your tutoring rates?

 

Our current rates are:

• GCSE Mathematics: £35 per hour (one-to-one), £50 per hour (paired)

• A-Level Mathematics: £55 per hour (one-to-one), £80 per hour (paired)

• IB Mathematics: £65 per hour (one-to-one), £100 per hour (paired)

• Group sessions (3-6 students): £15-£30 per student per hour

 

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes, we offer several discount options:

• 5% off for booking 4 sessions

• 10% off for booking 8+ sessions

• 10% sibling discount

What are your qualifications?

​

I am a fully qualified UK secondary mathematics teacher with BSc (Hons), PGCE, and NPQ SL qualifications, plus over 30 years of international teaching experience. I hold Enhanced DBS clearance and am registered with the DBS Update Service.

How do online sessions work?

​

Sessions are conducted via video conferencing. You'll need:

• Stable internet connection

• Working webcam and microphone

• Quiet study environment

• Basic mathematical equipment (Graphic Display Calculator for A-Level and IB students)

 

What happens if I need to cancel?

​

We require 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less notice will be charged at full rate. Rescheduling is possible, subject to availability. See our Terms and Conditions document for full details.

How do payments work?

​

All sessions must be paid for in advance via bank transfer or debit/credit card. We prefer GBP payments by bank transfer to our UK account, but Euro and USD account details are available upon request.

Is the tutoring environment safe?

Yes, we maintain strict safeguarding practices, including:

• Enhanced DBS certification

• Secure session recordings (with consent)

• Parent/guardian observation options

• Full data protection compliance

 

What happens in the first consultation?

The free initial consultation covers:
